On July 10, the 2026 National Steel Industry Ultimate Energy Efficiency and Carbon Compliance Practical Exchange Meeting was successfully held in Quzhou, Zhejiang Province. This conference was jointly organized by the Zhejiang Metal Association and metal associations from various provinces and cities nationwide, co-organized by Zhejiang Yuanli Group, focusing on core topics such as energy conservation and consumption reduction, low-carbon transformation, and carbon compliance implementation in the steel industry. It brought together national metallurgical experts and enterprise technical backbone to explore green development pathways. Shandong Province Metallurgical Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "SDM") was invited to present the construction process of the contracted 1280m³ blast furnace and the new technologies and highlights applied.

After the meeting, the experts and participants visited the newly built blast furnace for inspection. At the blast furnace centralized control center, the Deputy Director of the Ironmaking Division of SDM provided a detailed introduction to the 1280m³ blast furnace project constructed under the company's general contracting, systematically presenting the overall construction implementation of the blast furnace, the configuration of core equipment, and the key technical indicators for stable operation of the blast furnace. Emphasis was placed on new technologies and applications adopted in the new blast furnace to reduce process energy consumption and achieve energy saving and carbon reduction. In-depth communication was held with the attending experts on detailed issues during the production and operation process. Through this communication, everyone gained a thorough understanding and intuitive impression of SDM's intelligent, green, and long-life blast furnace, which received high praise from the attending experts.

This participation fully demonstrated SDM's technical strength in the general contracting of blast furnaces and energy-saving and carbon-reduction engineering fields. We will continue to promote and publicize the distinctive technologies of blast furnaces, strengthen industry technical exchanges, and rely on mature engineering cases to assist steel enterprises in efficiently achieving their carbon compliance goals, contributing technical strength to the green and high-quality development of the industry.
