Jointly sponsored by China Coking Industry Association and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Metallurgical Industry Branch, the 19th China International Conference on Coking Technology and Coke Market, with our company as the supporting unit, was held in Anyang, Henan Province from March 9 to 10, 2023, at the same time as the 8th member (director) conference of China Coking Industry Association. Vice Chairman Song ZhiShun led the team, and Vice President Li QingSheng, as well as relevant leaders from the coking department, chemical industry department, marketing department, Shanxi branch, Southwest branch, and Northwest branch, attended the conference. About 300 participants from various steel joint ventures, independent coking enterprises, futures exchanges, coking market analysis institutions, and coking coal and coke trading units attended the conference. As the largest industry event since the epidemic, it attracted great interest from relevant enterprises.

On March 9th, the conference reviewed the work report of the 7th Board of Directors of the China Coking Industry Association and the work report of the 1st Supervisory Board of the China Coking Industry Association, as well as the proposal for early election of the Supervisory Board of the China Coking Industry Association and the election method for the 8th General Meeting of Members (Directors) of the China Coking Industry Association. We voted to elect members of the 8th Board of Directors and supervisors of the 2nd Board of Supervisors of the China Coking Industry Association. We also elected executive directors and responsible persons of the 8th Board of Directors of the China Coking Industry Association, and our company was successfully elected as the council member unit. 

At the technical exchange meeting on the morning of March 10th, Chen Miao, head of the Chemical Industry Department of our company, gave a special report on "Coking Technology of SDM", detailing the advanced intelligence, coking, gas purification, dry quenching and other technologies in Henan Liyuan 6.25m stamp charging coke oven and other projects, providing technical support for the transformation, upgrading, and high-quality development of Chinese coking enterprises. On the afternoon of the 10th, representatives attending the meeting took a bus to visit the Henan Liyuan 6.25m stamp charging coke oven project designed by our company throughout the entire process. Shao ZhenQiang, the director of Henan Liyuan New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., gave a detailed introduction to the characteristic technologies and advanced indicators of coke oven and gas purification on site. The representatives attending the meeting expressed great shock. It overturns the understanding of traditional coking. “The Liyuan New Energy Technology Co. site is tasteless, dust-free, and arranged reasonably. The process energy consumption is low, the equipment level is high, and there are many new technologies that have benefited me greatly. When I return, I need to convey them as soon as possible and learn from Liyuan comprehensively!” Zhang QinShan, Deputy Chief Engineer of Jingdezhen Coking Energy Co., Ltd., spoke loudly. 

This conference is another exchange in the most authoritative conference in the industry, following the invitation to give a speech titled "Introduction to Spray Test of Large Coke Oven Supporting Gas Purification Horizontal Pipe Primary Cooler" at the 10th Executive Director (Expanded) Meeting of the 7th China Coking Industry Association on July 28, 2022. This also fully demonstrates that our large green intelligent coke oven and gas purification technologies have been fully recognized by the China Coking Industry Association and users.

The coke oven coking heat consumption has reached the special oven standard, and it is a large-scale green intelligent coke oven representing the world's first-class process level. This technology has been rated as the "Top 10 Technologies in the World Steel Industry in 2020". SDM has the qualifications for the full process design and general contracting of new, renovated, and expanded coking projects. We are willing to work with member units under the leadership of the China Coking Industry Association to promote the high-quality development of the coking industry in China and contribute SDM's strength to the technological progress of the coking industry.
