Smooth progressing of the two rolling lines designed by SDM with largest output nation wide

conversion Tai'an special construction steel project, namely the new zone first
bar mill and second bar mill project, are the two rolling lines with the
largest output in the country designed by our company
At present, the construction of the first bar mill and the second
bar mill on site is proceeding simultaneously. The preheating furnace of first
bar mill has been successfully ignited on October 6th. The equipments in the
rolling area and collection area have generally been installed. The
installation of pipelines and cables is also in the final stage. The hot steel
can be passed smoothly at the end of October; the civil construction work of
the second bar mill is nearly completed. The reheating furnace is expected to
be ignited on October 26. The equipment installation work and pipeline and
cable laying work in the rolling area and collection area are proceeding in an
orderly manner. It is expected to be at the end of November, the hot steel can
be passed.
All the equipments of the dual collection system (zone A, zone B) of
this project is designed by our company; the process flow of the entire
production line is designed according to the principle of automation and less
operators to integrate the operation room of the preheating furnace and the
rolling zone. Take the 1CS operation room as an example. The integration of the
operation room has greatly increased the degree of automation and reduced the
waste of human resources; advanced technologies such as automatic name tag
welding robots and centralized refueling and drainage are used in the design
process, which greatly improves production efficiency and intelligence degree.
Under the leadership of the chief designer and the full cooperation
of all designers, the engineering drawings of the new area project were
successfully delivered in early June 2020, and the construction of the first
and second bar mill projects will begin immediately; the delivery of the
drawings does not mean the completion of the engineering work. Engineers of all
disciplines are ready at any time while ensuring high design quality, ready to
deal with various emergencies and difficult problems discovered in on-site
construction. With the patient guidance and cooperation of the designers, the
on-site construction was able to realize both the high quality and fast
progress of the construction, which was highly praised by the client.
