Four Projects of SDM Won the Science and Technology Progress Award


   A few days ago, Shandong Province Metallurgical Industry Corporation announced the winning projects of Shandong Metallurgical Science and Technology Progress Award in 2020, including "Research and Application of Extra Large Blast Furnace Long Campaign Technology", "Research and Application of Comprehensive Technology of Energy-saving and Environmental Protection for Large sized Sinter Machines", and "research and application of concrete-filled steel tube latticed column + primary and secondary truss roof heavy duty metallurgical plant system " which are declared by SDM won the first prize; "High efficiency, green and intelligent technology for the application of extra large blast furnace TRT generator set" won the second prize .


In recent years, SDM adheres to the service concept of "all for the sake of users", responds to the call of national industrial structure adjustment, traditional drivers being replaced by new ones, and the Belt and Road, further promotes the "focus on green and intelligent metallurgy, develop municipal emerging industries, and build the world-class brand" in the medium and long-term development strategy, continue to increase scientific and technological innovation, and focus on the formation of new technology and new equipment for extra large high-efficiency long campaign blast furnaces, large and medium sized high-efficiency sinter machine, large sized green coke oven, improved hot blast stoves and etc through independent research and development innovation, secondary and integrated innovation based on imported technologies. These have been widely supported and recognized by all sectors of  society and customers at home and abroad.

Winning the Metallurgical Science and Technology Award is the highly affirmation of SDM’s long-term strategy of “focus on green and intelligent metallurgy”. We will continue to devote to the green, high-efficiency and intelligent steel industry, develop innovative technologies, and contribute to greater technological innovation in china’s steel industry during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period.
