On August 5, Chairman Mr. Wei Xinmin, Vice President Mr. Song Zhishun and Vice Director Mr. Zhao Shengcun led team to visit President Mr. Sun Xiang of Hebei Xinhua United Metallurgical Holding Group Co.

Xinhua Metallurgical Group is a mega private steel enterprise group integrating sintering, coking, iron making, steel making, hot rolling, cold rolling, galvanizing, methanol, natural gas, seawater desalination, waste pressure and gas and waste heat power generation, comprehensive sewage treatment and wharf transportation, with an integrated steel and coke supporting capacity of over 20 million tons. The group has two production bases (China Railway Engineering-Cangzhou and Tangshan Zongheng), which are close to Huanghua Port, Fengnan Port, Tianjin Port and Caofeidian Port, and are located in the key area of Bohai Sea, radiating the economic circle of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, with superior geographical location and convenient transportation and logistics.

President of Xinhua Metallurgical Group, Mr. Sun Xiang, Chief Engineer Mr. Xin Hongqi and other leaders warmly welcomed Mr.Wei and the delegation, and led them to visit the enterprise exhibition hall, introducing the development process of the enterprise in detail.

Later, a symposium was held in the reception hall, where  two sides exchanged and discussed topics of common interest, such as the current steel market environment and future development direction. At the meeting, Chairman Mr. Wei introduced to President Mr. Sun the business segments and the application of cutting-edge technologies of SDM, and expressed praise on the legendary development speed of Xinhua Metallurgical Group from the largest medium and wide band steel production base in China with an annual output of 3 million tons in 2003 to the establishment of China Railway Engineering Cangzhou Base with an annual steel coke production capacity of more than 10 million tons in 2006 till the establishment of Tangshan Zongheng Base with an integrated steel coke supporting capacity of more than 20 million tons of in 2016, As well as the appreciation for the achievements made by the two production bases in environmental protection A-class enterprises. The two sides expressed their hope to keep close contact in the future, to exchange ideas and create more and better cooperation opportunities.
