Rotary hearth furnace technology
Utilizing rotary hearth furnace for the treatment of dust of steel plant is a new technology developed by SDM. Rotary hearth furnace direct reduction process can effectively recover the harmful element zinc and lead contained in the dust. The main product is metal pellet. The comprehensive energy consumption of steel production and emission of pollutant will be greatly reduced which has distinct effect on energy saving and emission reduction. Rotary hearth furnace raw material has wide range of application, not only for handling the zinc-laden and iron-laden scrap in steel plant but also for the ball iron production with iron ore fines as well as handling various composite ore.
