On October 7, on the occasion of celebrating the National Day and celebrating the victory of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, for 1.56 MTPA coking plant transformation and upgrading and 40000 tons of high-performance carbon anode materials project of Shanxi Province Minguang Coking Co., Ltd., a grand commencement ceremony was held in Yicheng High-quality Steel New Material Industrial Zone. The commencement ceremony was organized by Yicheng Government and attended by Linfen City government leaders, Fujian Sangang Co., Ltd., Jinnan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., Shanxi Minguang New Energy Co., Ltd., the EPC contracting party and the construction units. Wei Xinmin, Chairman of SDM, Song Zhishun, Deputy General Manager of SDM, Li Qingsheng, Vice director of SDM, and SDM Shanxi Branch director were invited to attend the commencement ceremony and speak as representatives of EPC contractor and construction unit.

Shanxi minguang coking upgradation project is located in Yicheng High-quality Steel New Material Industrial Zone, which is jointly invested and constructed by Fujian Sangang Company and Jinnan Steel Company. The first phase includes the transformation and upgrading project of 1.56 million tons of coking project and coke-oven gas to LNG co-production of synthetic ammonia project, which is a provincial key project in Shanxi Province, and also the vital project and benchmark project of Shanxi Minguang New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. from the traditional industry to the new industry, bearing the glorious mission of transformation and upgrading of traditional coking industry, the cultivation and development of low-carbon and environment-friendly new business forms, which will play an important exemplary and leading role in the transformation of domestic traditional coking industries to emerging industries.

The EPC contracting scope of 1.56 million tons coking transformation and upgrading project includes two sets 6.73 meters 2x59 chamber stamping coke ovens and supporting coal preparation, coke treatment project and gas purification project, which is another major project with milestone significance undertaken by our company after Henan Liyuan project, Xinxing Cast Pipe project and Yunnan Coal Energy Coking projects. The coking process adopts 6.73m 2x59 chamber large stamp-charging coke oven technology, and which is jointly developed and designed by our company and PW Company in Italy, the single-chamber output is the highest and the energy consumption is the lowest in China, representing the most advanced technology level in the world coking industry. It is equipped with the largest and most advanced SCP machine in China, which can realize unattended coke oven operation. The supporting coke oven ground dedusting station is also provided; the coke oven flue gas after desulfurization and denitration can meet the ultra-low emission requirements of Shanxi Province. It is equipped with a large number of world's most advanced technologies such as sectional heating and SOPRECO, which provides strong technical support for the large-scale, green, intelligent and low-carbon coke oven, and it has reached the world-class level of advanced coking process route, efficient utilization of resources, ultra-low emission of pollutants and energy consumption.
