At 9:58 a.m. on December 28, 2022, heating-up (chimney) for Shanxi Province Shenglong Taida Coking Project got started. It is planned to start ignition of 2 # coke oven on January 12, and by the end of April 2023, 2 # coke oven and related supporting facilities will be put into operation.

Plant design and project management of 1.92 MTPA coking upgrading and technical transformation project of Shanxi Province Shenglong Taida Co., Ltd. is undertaken by our company. This project adopts the world's most advanced large-scale top-charging coke oven technology developed by SDM in cooperation with PW. The project includes 7.6m top-charging coke oven system, gas purification system, coal preparation system, coke treatment system, utility systems and living logistics facilities of the whole plant, landscape design, plant intelligence, as well as SOPRECO EPC projects. The project management includes the whole process management of the whole plant, including procurement, construction, cost, safety, file management, etc.

In April 2021, this project got started with site leveling and pile foundation works, and our project management team entered the site and overcame the problems of narrow site land, large elevation difference in plant area, poor natural conditions, large quantity of construction teams, and great difficulty in management, and the followings are realized, the construction site and social roads have been separated, the flood drainage ditch and slope treatment works have been successfully completed, various civil works are close to completion, and the installation works have been comprehensively accelerated. In December 2022, the iron parts of 2 # coke oven got completed and the battery was ready for heating-up. Coal preparation, coke treatment, dry quenching, gas cleaning and sewage treatment are steadily moving forward.
