At 9:18 on March 30th, in the electrical control room on the third floor of the thermal energy workshop, the grid connection ceremony was held for the 1# CDQ generator of the Energy Power Plant of the Laiwu Branch of Shandong Iron & Steel Group, which was designed and contracted by SDM.

Mr. Yu Wenbo, Deputy General Manager of Shangang Laiwu Branch, Mr. Li Chuanjin, Secretary of the Party Committee and Manager of the Energy Power Plant, Mr. Lin Jisheng, Deputy General Manager of SDM, SuHua Construction Group, Shanxin Software, and related units attended the grid connection ceremony.

At 9:18 a.m., the ceremony officially began. Mr. Lin Jisheng, Deputy General Manager of SDM, Mr. Li Chuanjin, Secretary of the Party Committee and Manager of the Energy Power Plant, and Mr. Yu Wenbo, Deputy General Manager of Shangang Laiwu Branch, delivered speeches and announced that "the 1#CDQ generator of the Energy Power Plant of Shangang Laiwu Branch was successfully connected to the grid for power generation”!

The renovation project of the 1# CDQ generator unit of the Energy Power Plant of Laiwu Branch of Shangang Group mainly involves upgrading the 1# CDQ generator unit from sub-high temperature and sub-high pressure to high temperature and high pressure at the original site, while also upgrading and renovating the electrical, instrument and control and other related supporting systems. The steam turbine of the unit is produced and manufactured by Nanjing Turbine & Electrical Machinery Group, and the generator is overhauled by the original generator, with unit load of 30MW. Since the start of the project in July 2020, the project department of SDM has worked together with various parties such as the Energy Power Plant, Suhua Construction, and Shanxin Software, working day and night to overcome a series of difficulties caused by epidemic control, cross construction, and the combination of production and construction during construction and commissioning. The project was successfully connected to the grid for power generation on March 25, 2023.

The upgrading and renovation project of the 1# CDQ generator, as a key energy efficiency enhancement project of the Laiwu Branch of Shangang Group., can effectively improve the comprehensive utilization effect of energy and lay a solid foundation for the development of the Laiwu Branch's green industry ecosystem.
