On the morning of July 23, the new high alloy bar project of Baote Gaojin was officially started in Ma'anshan City, and Lin Jisheng, secretary of the Party Committee of SDM, was invited to attend the commencement ceremony and deliver a speech. The total investment of the high alloy bar project is about 450 million yuan, with a land area of about 80000 square meters. The main construction contents of the project include heating furnaces, chamber furnaces, two roll reversible roughing mills, 16 CCR continuous rolling units, temperature control and water cooling systems, cooling beds, shearing equipment, bundling and collection systems, moving hood furnaces, pallet car furnaces, annealing furnaces, straightening and chamfering flaw detection lines, grinding, peeling flaw detection lines, packaging processing lines and other supporting water, electricity, air and energy medium facilities. After the completion of the project, the annual design output of 55300 tons of high alloy bars is designed. The products are high-temperature alloys, high-temperature bearings, titanium and titanium alloys, special stainless steel, high-end tool and die steels with high added value, high technology content, and production difficulties.

This project revolves around the strategic planning and development layout of China Baowu, with a focus on undertaking the major mission of material supply in key areas of national defense and military industry. At the same time, combined with the first phase steelmaking project of Baowu Ma'anshan Base, it realizes the centralized arrangement of upstream and downstream processes, actively responds to relevant industrial policy guidance, and achieves the development goals of Baote Gaojin Company's green, low-carbon, intelligent, centralized, high-quality, high-end, and efficient development.
