Recently, the green development and renovation project of Linggang's coke oven equipment upgrade received good news - its application for the Liaoning Provincial Digital Workshop Project "Smart Coking Digital Workshop Based on Industrial Big Data Platform" was successfully approved with solid technological innovation strength, officially entering the ranks of provincial-level digital workshops. This achievement marks that this modern coking plant integrating cutting-edge automation, industrial Internet and artificial intelligence technology has taken a critical step on the path of intelligent transformation and become a new benchmark for intelligent manufacturing in the coking industry.

As the main constructor of the project's intelligent scene, SDM Intelligent Information Branch witnessed the whole process from blueprint design to implementation and operation. Three months ago, the project was fully put into operation, ushering in a new stage of "digitalization, networking, and intelligence" in coking production. This approval is an authoritative recognition of its achievements in intelligent construction.

Digital infrastructure: Building intelligent infrastructure for all scenarios

The foundation of intelligent construction lies in a solid "hardware skeleton" and an efficient "neural center". With the goal of "centralized control and intelligent operation", we have created an infrastructure system for intelligent systems, providing solid support for subsequent intelligent applications.

Build an intelligent control center to create a "smart brain" for global management and control

The intelligent control center located in the front area of the plant is the command center of the whole project, integrating the production operation working position of the whole process of coal preparation, coking, gas purification, and production scheduling, energy management, environmental protection monitoring management working position, realizing the collaborative linkage of "operation management decision-making". The high-density LED seamless splicing large screen presents the digital twin factory and key data dashboard in real time, and the LED strip screen above cyclically displays the enterprise's dynamics, forming a visual center that combines technology and practicality.

All 25 nos operation working position in the hall are equipped with four 24 "monitors, and cross screen operation is achieved through the distributed agent management (KVM) system - from coke oven temperature monitoring at the coking working position to SIS safety screen at the gas purification working position, the delay of all commands and feedback is controlled within 20ms, and the operator can complete multi-screen switching through a set of keyboard and mouse, greatly improving the work efficiency.

 

Build a digital base and a "highway" for data circulation

To make data 'run', stable networks and powerful computing power support are indispensable. Build a digital base of "coking big data platform +super fusion server cluster +industrial security network": a cluster of five high-performance super fusion servers, forming a strong computing and storage capacity; The industrial network covering the entire factory adopts a dual link design of "fiber optic+5G", and the communication of coke oven locomotives integrates industrial wireless network and 5G network, ensuring zero interruption of data transmission and creating conditions for achieving "unmanned operation" of coke oven locomotives.

 

Cybersecurity is of paramount importance. Deploy industrial firewalls, network gateways, and host security protection systems to implement graded protection for production control networks, energy collection networks, and office networks. At the same time, real-time capture of abnormal traffic through security monitoring and auditing systems ensures the stable operation of production systems.

Intelligent empowerment: the implementation and effectiveness of intelligent applications throughout the entire process

Focusing on the four major goals of "improving quality, reducing costs, increasing efficiency, and ensuring safety", anchoring the design concept of "intrinsic safety, focusing on change, reducing emissions at the source, and highly intelligent", implementing the construction goals of "high quality, high efficiency, low consumption, and fewer personnel", taking centralized control as the basic platform, process reengineering as the innovative lever, and intelligent manufacturing as the technological means, multiple breakthroughs have been achieved in management innovation, production optimization, equipment upgrading, and other dimensions.
