The Technical Specification for Coke Oven Gas Primary Cooler Process edited by SDM was released

On July 18, the Technical Specification for Coke Oven Gas Primary Cooler T/CCIAA 34-2025 (hereinafter referred to as the Specification), which was edited by SDM, was officially released and implemented. The "Specification" provides detailed regulations on the process flow, operating parameters, and quality indicators of coking gas purification primary coolers, while unifying the design and operating standards of primary coolers, ensuring the efficiency and safety of the gas cooling process. The release and implementation of the "Standards" can guide coking enterprises to effectively control the daily operation of primary coolers in the production process, creating favorable conditions for the stable operation of subsequent gas purification and deep processing. This is another industry standard after the Technical Specification for Dry Acid Production from Coke Oven Gas desox Waste Liquid (YB/T6115-2023) officially implemented on July 1, 2024 and edited by SDM, which fully reflects the technical leadership and brand influence of SDM in the coking industry.

 

The Chemical Business Department of SDM took the lead in the preparation of the Specification. After two years of in-depth research, a 1:1 primary cooler model was built. At the same time, the actual production data of Henan Liyuan, Shanxi Shenglong Taida, Shanxi Mingguang, Liaoning Linggang and other enterprises were integrated, and industry feedback was widely collected. After many discussions and revisions, the preparation was finally successfully completed. At present, the "Regulations" have been implemented and applied in projects such as Henan Liyuan New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and Shanxi Minguang New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. After the production of Liyuan in Henan and Minguang in Shanxi, all indicators of their primary coolers are at the leading level in China. The gas temperature (hourly average) after primary cooling is ≤ 21 ℃, and the qualification rate is ≥ 98%;The resistance of the primary cooler is less than 600Pa, and the qualification rate is ≥ 98%.

This regulation will play a positive role in the low-carbon, efficient operation and intelligence of the coking industry.
