Move the training site to the production line SDM 2025 New Employee Induction Training Focuses on Effectiveness

In order to further strengthen the construction of talent team, help new employees quickly integrate into the company's environment, and improve work efficiency and comprehensive quality, SDM successfully held the 2025 induction training for new employees from July 22 to 25.In order to enable employees to have a better understanding of Shandong Iron and Steel Group and become better soldiers, this training was held at Laigang, with a total of 16 new employees participating.

SDM attaches great importance to the psychological health education of employees. Specially invited Zhong Min, a specially appointed counselor from the Mental Health Center of Ocean University of China and the Mental Health Center of Shandong University Qingdao Campus, to provide psychological counseling courses for new employees, helping them quickly integrate into the work environment and form a healthy and positive professional attitude. Through video interpretation, European card games, and other methods, we help new employees deepen their understanding of each other through interaction, recognize and pay attention to the importance of workplace mental health and personal growth in their work, help everyone scientifically relieve stress, build a positive attitude, and enhance work motivation and enthusiasm.

To enrich the training content and explore diversified training methods, this new employee training introduces role sand table simulation courses for the first time, and specially invites experienced talent development expert Wang Jing from Zhilian Recruitment to give lectures. In this course, Teacher Wang not only guided everyone to deeply explain the importance of goal management through various forms such as group cooperation, interactive writing and painting, but also elaborated on how to smoothly transition from a school person to a workplace person, how to quickly integrate into the corporate environment, and develop effective career development strategies, providing a crucial onboarding lesson for new employees. The sand table simulation session was lively and interesting, greatly attracting the enthusiastic participation of new employees. Everyone was immersed in it, with frequent interactions and a very lively atmosphere on site. Through two rounds of comparison, new employees deeply felt the powerful power of clear goals and unity and cooperation.

On the last day of the training, all new employees went to the project site for a visit and learning. This training selected iron-making plant, coking plants, steel mills, and steelmaking plants as the visiting locations. New employees have gained a more specific and in-depth understanding of project production work through careful listening to explanations and active questioning, combined with on-site observation and exploration.

The training for new employees ended successfully, which effectively enhanced the sense of belonging of new employees to SDM and their sense of direction in work. The training encouraged everyone to quickly change their roles under the guidance of the company, actively integrate into the team, constantly strengthen learning, and strive to become a qualified designer of SDM as soon as possible.
