Recently, the China Metallurgical Construction Association announced the winners of the 2025 National Metallurgical Industry Outstanding Engineering Design Achievement Awards. Among the projects submitted by SDM, seven engineering design achievements were honored. These include the first prize for "Coke Oven Project of the 2.0 MTPA Coking Environmental Relocation and Transformation Upgrade Project of Yunnan Coal Energy Co., Ltd." and "Technical Transformation Project of High-Alloy Small Bar Production Line of Fushun Special Steel." Three projects, including "Sewage Renovation Project of the Power Plant of Jiangsu Lianfeng Industrial Co., Ltd.," won the second prize, while two projects, such as "Environmental Dust Removal Project for the Converter Continuous Casting Project in the Special Steel Zone of the System Optimization and Upgradation Project for Old and New Kinetic Energy Conversion at Laiwu Branch of Shandong Iron & Steel Group Co., Ltd.," received the third prize. The awarded projects cover major processes in the metallurgical industry, fully demonstrating SDM’s strength and expertise in the field of engineering construction project design.
