This is a high praise from the owner for the efficient performance and craftsmanship of the SDM in the overhaul management of the hot blast stove of Chongqing Iron & Steel's No.2 blast furnace. The project was successfully awarded the contract on December 31, 2025, with a 90-day construction period (including heating up) commencing from the contract award date. The project faced multiple challenges such as no preparation time for design and procurement, an extremely tight schedule, spanning the Spring Festival, a complex construction environment, and multiple intersecting processes. The difficulty of general contracting management far exceeded that of conventional projects, and the design, procurement, and construction were all pushing the limits. In order to strictly adhere to the performance commitment, SDM coordinated and deployed advantageous resources. The management team voluntarily gave up the New Year's Day holiday and quickly assembled on site on January 1, launching a tough battle with the attitude of " Hit the ground running from the very beginning". Faced with an extremely tight schedule, the design drawings and equipment refractories supply were even more difficult. The head of the Hot Blast Stove Engineering Technology Branch led a team to key suppliers to confirm the delivery schedule, while the Design Department organized capable personnel to promptly, efficiently, and accurately issue the procurement list and construction drawings, laying the foundation for the project development.

During the critical period, the Project Department adhered to scientific coordination and meticulous control, formulated a detailed construction organization plan, decomposed the construction period objectives level by level, and assigned responsibilities to individuals. Professional and technical personnel worked alongside the shifts and provided on-site guidance throughout the process, while front-line construction personnel took turns on duty and worked day and night to seize the construction window period. The team always adhered to the principle of quality first and safety first, strictly implemented construction specifications and technical standards, implemented quality control and safety inspections throughout the entire process, proactively optimized processes and innovated construction methods to address technical difficulties in construction, and overcome one difficulty after another with a rigorous attitude. Under the premise of ensuring safety and quality, all construction tasks were successfully completed on schedule, and a high-quality project was successfully delivered. Since the project was put into operation one month ago, the operational results have been stable and up to standard, winning unanimous recognition from the owner.
