On the Evaluation Meeting for Scientific and Technological Achievements held on April 11, 2026, Shandong Steel Association (hereinafter referred to as Association) conducted the assessment and evaluation over 7 sci-tech achievements made by Shandong Province Metallurgical Engineering Co., Ltd. (SDM), such as “Integration and Application of Large-Scale, Green, Intelligent, Customized Top-Charging Coke Oven Equipment Technology”.

      The Evaluation Committee consists of seven experts and scholars from Shandong University, University of Jinan, China Coking Industry Association (CCIA), and Shandong Urban Construction Design Institute (SDCJ), etc. Professor Li Shengli of Shandong University acted as the Director of the Evaluation Committee, with Professor Chen Peidun of University of Jinan and Researcher Wang Yuanshun of CCIA acting as the Deputy Directors. Wu Xiaofeng, the Deputy Secretary of the Committee, presided at the Meeting. Chief Engineer Lirui of SDM attended the Meeting and delivered the speech, showing heartfelt welcome and appreciation for the presence of participant experts and scholars.

     The experts and scholars heard the presentation of related projects and examined corresponding documents, after which the Committee conducted the following comprehensive evaluation:

The technology in “Integration and Application of Large-Scale, Green, Intelligent, Customized Top-Charging Coke Oven Equipment Technology” can be recognized as the world-leading level;

The three projects — Research and Application of Intrinsically Safe Gas Purification Technology, Integration and Application of Green, Energy-Saving, Smart Coal Preparation, Storage, and Batching Integrated Silo Equipment Technology, and Engineering Application and Industrialization of Ultra-Low Emission Fugitive Emission Control in Short-Process Steel Enterprises — have reached internationally advanced levels;

      The three projects — Research and Application of Key Technologies for Green Construction and Intelligent Control of Air-Supported Membrane Enclosure in Steel Material Yards, Development and Application of Automatic Detection Technology and Equipment for Steel Surface Defects Based on Vision Technology, and Research and Application of Energy-Saving Ferroalloy Baking Furnace Equipment Technology — have achieved domestically leading levels in terms of their technology.
