At 11:00 a.m. on May 11th, the 2# continuous casting machine of Steelmaking Plant of Shandong Iron & Steel Group Co., Ltd. successfully produced the first qualified steel billet. The Shandong Province Metallurgical Engineering Co., Ltd. - Shandong Iron & Steel Group Bar Mill Central Rolling Line Revamping Project Department (hereinafter referred to as "the Project Department") achieved an excellent record of "3 days ahead of schedule" during the 12-day intense battle from April 29th to May 11th, breaking the original production plan scheduled for May 14th. The successful completion of this project laid a solid foundation for the central rolling line revamping project of Shandong Iron & Steel Group Bar Mill Plant, alleviated the pressure on the owner's blast furnace hot metal supply, and gained valuable time to solve the downstream steel billet supply problem.
