The Taojialing 110kV substation designed by SDM for Energy & power plant of Laiwu branch of Shandong Iron and Steel Co., Ltd was completed and put into operation in the morning of Nov. 3, 2020.
Taojialing 110kV substation and external line adaptive transformation project is the core power transmission system of the new and old kinetic energy conversion project of Laiwu branch of Shandong Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., the main construction contents include two distribution buildings, four sets of main transformers and related supporting facilities, with an investment of more than 73 million yuan, mainly providing the transfer load electricity of the new 2×480m2 sintering machine, 2×3800m3 BF, coking area and Yinshan substation, and as 110kV power grid of 2×65mw coal gas power generation.
The design scale of the substation is four sets of 80MVA 110/35kV main transformers and four 110kV power incoming lines. 110kV system adopts double bus and double sectionalized connection mode, 110kV distribution equipment adopts 110kV gas insulated metal enclosed switchgear (GIS); 35kV system adopts double bus double sectionalized wiring mode, and 35kV distribution equipment adopts 35kV SF6 gas insulated metal clad switchgear (C-GIS). At present, the substation is the most complex power supply structure, the largest installed capacity, the largest transfer power supply and the most advanced equipment configuration among the 110 kV voltage levels in the surrounding areas. Compared with other substations in Laiwu branch of Shandong Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., the primary equipment has been upgraded, the secondary equipment has been improved, and the safety and automation control level of the equipment have been relatively improved.
The successful operation of the substation not only provides power supply for the process before ironmaking of the new and old kinetic energy conversion project of Laiwu Branch Company, but also provides reliable guarantee for the in-service transfer load in Yinshan substation.
