On February 24th, SDM made a feedback on design quality
for Blast Furnace project of new and old drivers transformation project, Shiheng
Special Steel Co., Ltd. The chief designer and related designers of the project
participated in the feedback.
Two nos of blast furnace in Shiheng are put
into operation in December 2020 and January 2021 respectively. At present, the
production of two BFs is operating stably. Under the condition of the
comprehensive grade 56% for the ore to the blast furnace, the fuel ratio is
515kg/t and the daily output is 5400 tons of iron. It comes top in the domestic
blast furnaces of the same size and has been well reputed by the owner. During
the feedback, The owner had fully communicated with the design team regarding
the problems arising from the project construction and the production and
equipment maintenance in the past two months and they went to the site to
check. SDM designers listened patiently, made records and gave feedback on treatment
suggestions.
This visit not only provides a stronger guarantee for the subsequent
production of the blast furnace in the new area of Shiheng Special Steel CO.,Ltd,
but also provides more technical support for the design improvement of the renovation
project in the old area of Shiheng. It not only reflects the SDM’s tenet "extra-value
service return to customers" , but also provides guarantee for the joint
development of SDM and Shiheng Special Steel Co., Ltd.
