At 9:50 on June 28, 2020, 1#HBS of 3800m3 BF of New and Old Kinetic Energy Conversion EPC Project of Laiwu Iron & Steel Group of Shansteel contracted by SDM was successfully capped. Since the commencement of the project on September 17, 2019, under the leadership of the new and old kinetic energy conversion headquarters of Laiwu Iron and Steel Group, under the supervision and guidance of Laiwu Three Control Metallurgical Construction Supervision Firm, and with the cooperation of Construction and Installation Engineering Co., Ltd of Laiwu Iron and Steel Group, we have overcome the adverse effects of winter construction, novel coronavirus epidemic and summer heat, and overcome the problems of aerial work and high risk of HBS shell welding quality in winter. In the construction process of the past few months, a total of 1700 tons of steel structure HBS shell and 800 tons of steel structure frame were hoisted and installed, and a total of more than 3600 cubic meters of concrete were poured, and the capping node of hot blast stove was completed three days ahead of schedule with quality and quantity guaranteed. The completion of this node marks that the construction of 1# 3800m3 BF system has achieved a phased victory, laying a solid foundation for the realization of the goal of HBS heating up in March next year.
