Recently, masonry construction of 0.20MTPA vertical non-recovery coke oven project of Welspun Metallics Limited, India is started.
On December 31, the 3700cm3 blast furnace 1# upgradation project of HBIS Handan branch which was general contracted by SDM was capped.
In November 2021, the cold bed steel picker project of ANGANG STEEL COMPANY LIMITED, general contracted by SDM, has successfully completed the combined loaded test run, and has been in the trial production for 20 days till now.
On November 30, 2021, CDQ furnace project of XIN TIAN TIE, designed by SDM, has started to load red coke and put into operation, marking the transfer from commissioning into production.
The 2050mm hot continuous rolling project of SD STEEL RIZHAO CO.,LTD, designed by SDM, recently has won the National Quality Engineering Gold Award in 2020-2021.
At 15:16 on December 18, 2021, No.1 BF of 3800m3, landmark of energy upgrading project including newly built 2×3800m3 BF and its supporting auxiliary facility in SD STEEL LAIWU BRANCH COMPANY, has ignited for start-up.
On 12th March, the RTO furnace of the second system of the first set of VOCs treatment and transformation project general contracted by the energy-saving and environmental protection department was put into operation safely, and the emissions met environmental protection requirements.
On 16th March，the water treatment system project of the converter continuous casting project in Taojialing District, the new and old kinetic energy conversion project of Shandong Steel Co., Ltd., Laiwu Branch held a groundbreaking ceremony.
