On 15th January, 2021, hot commissioning of High-speed End-plate Flange Production Line of Longteng Special Steel Company, designed by SDM, was successfully carried out. The product was 125mm×20mm end-plate flange and the final rolling speed was 2.1m/s.
Recently, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology office announced that SDM has been nominated as “Pilot Company for Industrial Enterprise Intellectual Property Application in 2020”
On 18th January, 2021, 2# coke oven battery SOPRECO project awarded to SDM by Shanxi Yaxin Coking Company on the basis of EPC was put into operation with COBs.
On 19th February, 2021, the construction of 2# BF, as part of 2×3800m³ BF and the utility system, contracted by SDM on the basis of EPC, was started. This project contract was awarded to SDM by Laiwu Steel Company, a branch of Shandong Iron & Steel Group Co., amid the campaign on the replacement of old growth drivers with new ones.
